The institute had been established with the aim to provide new dimensions and opportunities to the students to strengthen the spirit of Unity, Harmony and Leadership Quality. We offer a broad and balanced curriculum, where each and every student is an equally valued member of our institution.

The principal objective of education is to equip the youth with new ideas and new avenues. The integration of academic excellence and professional learning is one of the  Varsha Teachers Training College strength. We strive for high standards and values in the transmission of knowledge within a dynamic and interactive environment thereby enabling our students to gain distinction and honour in their respective fields.

The college has excelled in every field whether it is the field of academics, the ground of the sports or the stage of extracurricular activities. Students educated from the college have carved a niche for themselves in various fields at national and international platforms.

The culture of our college is based distinctively on human values, which are reflected in everything we do. We encourage students to demonstrate high levels of commitment and co-operation while all members of staff endeavor to provide maximum opportunities for learning and progression within a secure and safe environment. Our education philosophy is based strongly on partnership where home, college, parish and a wider community work closely together to provide maximum support to the educational process.

Social commitments towards the society are among the most important aspects of college education. It is essential to inculcate empathy towards the under- privileged people, senior citizens, concern towards environment conservation and preservation and sensitize young minds for active and sensible citizenship.
